Rental contract options

If you are confused by all the terms used in Portugal and you’re wondering what is the difference between holiday rentals or midterm rentals here is a quick guide of the different contracts HomeRun provides.

Short term rental

Also called ‘holiday rentals’, ‘vacation rentals’, ‘airbnbs’, ‘short term stays’ mainly targeting tourists who stay at the property for a minimum of 2 nights. The property is equipped with all the necessities including towels, bedsheets, toiletries and cooking utensils etc.

mid term rental

Typically targeted towards business professionals or freelancers who want to enjoy Lisbon for a minimum of 3 months. Utilities are included in the rent and the property is fully furnished and move in ready.

long term rental

Tenants who stay for longer periods of time, typically 1 year or longer. Utilities are paid by the tenant and the property is often unfurnished but has an equipped kitchen and bathroom.
